Please remember, if your children are removed, these are the very direct questions to ask and get the answers in WRITING.
The exact reason the children were removed, what you have to do to get them back. Tell them you want a SOLID case management plan, and make sure anything you disagree with, you question, especially when it does NOT pertain to your circumstances. If you do NOT get it written, they can change the goal posts every single time.
AND please, and this is without judgement, if it is drug and alcohol, get help, get counselling, keep a record of all the goal posts, if it is domestic violence, prove you have done everything to get away, and most important STAY away.
The best answer you can give them when they use things is BUT THAT DOES NOT APPLY TO ME ANYMORE, THAT IS NO LONGER A CIRCUMSTANCE THAT APPLIES, and have proof from INDEPENDENT scorces, one person I can recommend as Psychologist is John Rudge, he is actually honest. Lawyers: Your lawyer is being paid for by you, they are supposed to act for you.
If they tell you to accept the orders, ask them WHY, if they say Parents do not win against FACS/DOCS/CPS, ask them then WHY go to court for me, take my money if you are going in there expecting to lose? Then in front of the judge, state you no longer want this person to represent you, when asked why, say clearly because this person told me Parents NEVER win against FACS/DOCS/CPS, I am here to try and get my children back, how can i do that if my own Lawyer has that mindset, is not justice supposed to be equal?
If you want to push it, say there is a saying, only a fool has himself for a client, well i have another one, only a fool will go to court with a Lawyer who already has it in their mind they will lose therefore, I intend on doing my best to win so I opt for the more positive mindset.
This has to stop, and this is not about children that are in need of protection, this is children taken wrongly, or when the parents have proven themselves fit. The whole aim is supposdely for the children to be re-unified with their parents, not to provide a pay packet to wannabe do-gooders or under the radar child abusers, or because of the lack of children for adoption, a quick way for so called "upstanding" citizens to steal OUR children!
This is to return children whenever and where ever they can, NOT just keep them in a system that does more harm than good, No more Lukey's, NO more deborah mellvilles!!!
